For nearly a decade now, I have been living with Berger's Disease, a rare kidney disorder that causes inflammation and scarring in the kidneys. Despite my deteriorating kidney function, I do my best to continue living life as normal as possible.

When I told my family the time was coming for me to get a transplant, my brother, Jace, stepped up immediately.  Jace, spent 8-hours in the hospital one afternoon getting tests done, blood drawn and much more to see if he was a potential donor match.  His tests eventually came back, and he was a perfect match! Having a living donor come forward is such a selfless act and allows to me schedule a transplant on my time.
