37 million people in our country have kidney disease and there are just over 100 thousand people on the kidney transplant waiting list including my infant son, Ares. Next month on October 6, the National Kidney Foundation will be having a walk in Boston to help raise kidney disease awareness and to fund innovation in kidney disease research, advocacy and transplantation. Andrew and I will be walking for our son Ares and for all the other Americans dealing with this disease.
