Why I Walk
In August 2020 my friend Jean donated one of her kidneys to me. We named the kidney Marigold.  Since my transplant I've been able to live life to the fullest, pursue my call to become an Episcopal deacon, and start a great new job. Jean truly changed and saved my life by donating her kidney. Jean says, "By becoming a kidney donor, you will receive the greatest gift of your life."
 
Team Marigold is walking to encourage others to be living donors and share the gift of life.
 
We are also walking to support the lifechanging work of the National Kidney Foundation:

We invite you to join Team Marigold in raising awareness for living transplant donation and raising funds for the National Kidney Foundation. You can join us be walking with Team Marigold or make a donation.
