By participating in the 2025 Michigan Kidney Walk at the Detroit Zoo, you’ll let others know they’re not alone.
Walkers over the age of 12 are asked to raise at least $50 to cover the costs of admission, entertainment, parking, and more. Walkers aged 3-12 are asked to raise at least $15, and those aged 2 and under are free. Every walker plays a vital role in helping us reach our $425,000 fundraising goal. If everyone raised $100 on average, we would exceed our goal and fund more programs for Michiganders with chronic kidney disease. The Kidney Walk at the Detroit Zoo is our largest fundraiser, with over 80% of proceeds supporting programs and services like Kid's Camp, Emergency Fund, Enhance®Fitness, and more.
All those that raise $100 individually will receive a prize which is a 2025 Zoo Walk t-shirt.

receive Champions' wristbands (for dialysis participants,
kidney recipients, or donors),
