Why I Walk

I walk because kidney disease has and will forever impact my life.
I walk to support every single person that ever has and ever will be affected by kidney disease or failure, whether directly or through a loved one. To see everybody come together for one day for a cause that impacts so many, often silently and invisibly, is so incredible and I am so grateful to be a part of it.
And of course I walk for me. For all the days that I have fought kidney disease, mentally and physically.
