Why Team Cole Walks This year is marking the 10th anniversary of my SPK transplant, and Team Cole has joined others throughout the country to fight against kidney disease. On November 10, 2024, Team Cole and others will walk for loved ones, colleagues, or friends who cope with this devastating chronic illness each day - and for those who lost their fight too soon Team Cole supports the life-changing work of the National Kidney Foundation: - To ensure families have a place to turn when they need answers. I found out about NKF after my transplant, and this organization helped me to understand the next phase of my life (after the transplant) - To fight for policy changes to protect kidney patients and living donors. - To drive innovation in transplantation and get more loved ones off the kidney transplant waitlist. In the past, Team Cole walked at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers, NY. Join us for the walk, or meet us after the walk to grab breakfast on McLean Ave. We would love to see you all!
