We're returning to Marina Green Park in Long Beach, CA for the this year's Southern California Kidney Walk on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 9am. Whether you're planning to captain a team, attend with friends, or bring your kids, our Kidney Walk is a wonderful way to spend the day giving back to the local kidney community.

Please register all participants regardless of age, including children.
We ask that ALL WALKERS register for the Walk regardless of age. Online registration is highly encouraged, but you may also register on-site at the Walk beginning at 9:00 AM.

What to Expect on Walk Day!

Parking: Metered parking is available in lots adjacent to the park.
9:00am: Registration opens and the festival begins!
- Upon arrival, all Walkers should go to the CheckIn/Registration Tent. This is where you will turn in any remaining cash and checks. If you’ve raised over $1,000 you’ll also receive your Top Fundraisers Club Breakfast wristband.
Activities: NKF Info Booth, Face Painter, Top Team Tents, Kids Corner & More
- All team captains are encouraged to visit the Team Banner Tent after checking in. There will be materials there to pick up and decorate your team banner! Feel free to bring photos or other items to decorate your banner!
10:00am: Opening Ceremonies
10:30am: Walkers to the Route!
- No matter the weather, we walk together! The Walk is rain or shine. Please check the weather forecast and plan accordingly. Don’t forget your sunblock, hat and water bottle!
Route: Non-competitive 5K walk around the park. The route is wheelchair, stroller, and leashed-dog friendly!

Remember, if you raise $100 or more you will receive a Kidney Walk t-shirt. Walkers that raised $100+ by September 6 received their t-shirt in the mail; if you raise $100 by October 28, you'll also receive one! If you raise $1,000 or more, you are a Top Fundraiser and will receive a Kidney Walk top fundraiser vest. We do not hand either of these out on-site. Make sure to indicate your mailing address and size in your Walk profile, so you will receive yours post-Walk.
