Why I Walk
Watching my dad go through his battle with end-stage renal failure was one of the toughest experiences of my life. Since his diagnosis in 2014, he faced countless challenges, including being told he was too old for a transplant and that his heart wasn't strong enough. But he never lost hope or his fighting spirit!In March 2019, after years of waiting and praying for a miracle, we got the call that changed everything—a viable kidney was available for him. The transplant was a success, and today, his new kidney is still going strong!
I walk every year to raise awareness for kidney disease, to honor my dad's incredible journey, and to support those who are still fighting. This walk is not just for my dad, it's for everyone affected by kidney disease. Your support means everything to us as we continue to spread hope and raise funds for research and resources.
