Why I Walk
This year I am participating in my 17th Twin Cities Kidney Walk. This all started with the life-saving kidney I received from my son, Steve. I have met so many people in the kidney disease community and the need is so great for all those affected in this diverse group. The Walk is one way I can give back for the blessing I have received. Please donate. Any amount, large or small, is so appreciated and will go so far in all the tremendous work the National Kidney Foundation is doing.
Pictured above is the Minnesota Delegation at the National Kidney Foundation Summit in Washington, DC in March of this year.
I walk because too many families (like mine) are coping with this devastating chronic illness, and thousands more will face an unexpected kidney disease diagnosis in the year to come.
I walk to support the life-changing work of the National Kidney Foundation:
- To ensure that families will have a place to turn when they need answers.
- To keep up the fight for policy changes to protect kidney patients and living donors.
- To drive innovation in transplantation and get more loved ones off the kidney transplant waitlist.
Are you with me?
Thank you, Bob
Please consider supporting my efforts with a generous donation.
