My sister, Paula Bowman, was a champion advocate of kidney patients, doing much to improve kidney patient care and patient's rights.  She spent 38 of her 53 years with kidney disease, and used her vast knowledge as a medical technologist and epidemiologist to maintain her own health as well as better the lives of others.  This is the 16th year we, her family, walk in her memory and honor.
