Why I Walk

I walk to advocate for and protect superheroes like my mom and my husband, my living donors who made my life SO much better through their generosity. I walk to provide education, awareness, and HOPE to other kidney patients and their families. I walk to support the numerous programs and initiatives of the National Kidney Foundation that make it possible for kidney patients like me to survive and THRIVE. 

Bottom line: I walk because I'm so grateful to be alive. Are you with me?
