Why am I walking?

If you are on this page then you know me and you know that I work as a transplant nurse.  I have seen the effects of kidney disease on patients and their family members.  Too many people are living and coping with this chronic illness and thousands more will be diagnosed with chronic kidney disease this year. 

Join me, and Brett & Saoirse, as we walk to support the lifechanging work of the National Kidney Foundation.  NKF provides patients and family members a place to go for answers.  They also work to change health care policy to protect and provide for kidney patients and living kidney donors.  The NKF works hand-in-hand with transplantation to move people off the waiting list for an organ transplant and back to living their lives fully.
