Why I Walk

I walk because my now 17-year-old daughter Lucy was diagnosed with FSGS in October of 2020.  FSGS is a life-threatening disease that could fatally damage the kidneys to the point of leaving her no choice but a transplant.  

I immediately joined the National Kidney Foundation and with their help, we have treated my daughter's condition and she is currently in remission.  I never realized the vital importance of the kidneys and now want to work with the NKF to promote awareness among my peers.  
 
In addition, JLL has agreed to contribute 50% of all donations I can collect.  Please consider donating, as every little bit counts.
