Why I Walk

I walk because too many families (like mine) are coping with this devastating chronic illness, and thousands more will face an unexpected kidney disease diagnosis in the year to come. I walk to support the National Kidney Foundation and the work that they do to advocate on behalf of policies that effect kidney patients and living donors, and otherwise enrich the lives of those living with kidney disease. 
 I walk in memory of my Aunt Dee (2024), my Father-in-Law, Curtis (2024), my Dad Ted (2014), my Grandmother Louise ( 2004), and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins. I participate in the West TN Kidney Walk and support the National Kidney Foundation because saving lives and preserving our health is truly a family affair! Are you with me?
