Why I Walk: 2024 Houston Kidney Walk
Kidney disease has greatly impacted my family, and so many others are facing the same fight. In the coming year, thousands more will receive this life-changing diagnosis.
I’m walking to support the National Kidney Foundation and the incredible work they do:
- Providing families with the information and resources they need.
- Advocating for policies to protect kidney patients and living donors.
- Advancing transplantation innovation to shorten wait times for those in need.

Houston Arboretum & Nature Center
4501 Woodway Drive, Houston, TX 77024
- 8:00 AM: Walker Check-In
- 9:30 AM: Opening Ceremonies
- 10:00 AM: Walk Begins
- 11:30 AM: Walk Ends
Parking:
Available at Amegy Bank Tower, 1717 West Loop South, Houston, TX 77027. Park in the garage and Houston Metro buses will shuttle you to and from the event.
Recommended Items to Bring:
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Water bottles
- Festive attire!
