Why Walk With Jason
On Valentine's Day 2023, Jason was diagnosed with Kidney Disease. He is in End Stage Renal Failure and needs a Kidney Transplant. Statistics show a Living Kidney will give Jason the greatest opportunity for a successful transplant. One that extends his life for many years.
Our family is beginning a campaign to find a Living Kidney Donor.
The Houston Kidney Walk is our first step forward.
So, join us in showing Jason some support by walking with him! Let's have some fun and raise community awareness about Kidney Disease at the same time!
The Houston Kidney Walk supports the lifechanging work of the National Kidney Foundation who ensure families (like mine) who are learning to cope with this devastating chronic illness, and the thousands more who will face an unexpected kidney disease diagnosis in the year to come have the support they need.
