Why Walk With Jason
On Valentine's Day 2023, Jason was diagnosed with Kidney Disease. He is in End Stage Renal Failure and needs a Kidney Transplant. Statistics show a Living Kidney will give Jason the greatest opportunity for a successful transplant. One that extends his life for many years.
Our family is beginning a campaign to find #aLivingKidneyforJASON. The Houston Kidney Walk is our first step forward.
PLEASE, Come Join Us! Let Jason know he's not alone on this leg of his journey by walking with him Nov 3rd. We can help raise some community awareness about Kidney Disease along the way!
The Houston Kidney Walk supports the lifechanging work of the National Kidney Foundation who ensure support is there for families (like mine) who are learning to cope with this devastating chronic illness, and the thousands more who in the next year will face an unexpected kidney disease diagnosis (like we had).
