WHY I WALK I walk this year as one of the lucky kidney patients who was blessed to receive a kidney donation from my niece and my hero Juana. Her selflessness has been a blessing to our family. There are no words to express the gratitude I have for her generosity. I walk this year in hopes that other kidney patients receive the gift I have. There are so many people on waiting lists hoping that they will find a matching donor. For those people I walk in honor of y'all of you in hopes that you will be blessed like have been. I walk for my wife Donna who worked tirelessly getting my story out there for others to see how our life's were affected by my kidney disease. The tests Juana and I had to take prior to our surgery. The knowledge for others to learn about kidney disease and the donation process. I walk for my daughter Caroline, son in law Stephen, my granddaughters, and the rest of my family and friends that have been there and supported me through my journey. I love all of you!
