My family, like many others was affected by kidney disease. My mother lost her first child when he was only 3 years old. He may have lived with today's advancements in kidney care and early detection.

"Kidney Walks are crucial for providing support to those in need. More than 80 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to research, patient services, professional education, public health education, and community services.
**Action:** We ensure that the 37 million Americans with chronic kidney disease receive early diagnosis, treatment, and support.
**Education:** We equip the public, patients, and healthcare professionals with the tools necessary to promote kidney health.
**Accelerating Change:** We advocate for policy changes on Capitol Hill and support life-saving research."
