Hi everyone! Welcome to my kidney fundraiser 2024 page, this is my first walk! For those of you who have not been keeping up with my chaotic health, you have missed a lot (especially about my kidneys)! 
Growing up, I was in and out of hospitals, constant Dr.’s Offices, and plenty of bloodwork to figure out why my kidneys weren’t happy. Luckily, over the past 2 years, I have finally gotten answers. I now know that I have kidney disease and something called Alport syndrome. For those of you that aren’t familiar, Alport Syndrome is a genetic disorder that impacts 1/10,000 people. Though Alport syndrome has many negative impacts, luckily, my kidneys have been the only things it has impacted. With this, I am extremely grateful that I finally have answers and have access to amazing healthcare, however, not everyone is as fortunate as I am. There are many people all around the world struggling with the same issues as myself or worse, for much longer periods of time, without a diagnoses or proper treatment.
