WHY I WALK
I walk because I know first hand what it is like to be a person with kidney disease. I've been on dialysis twice and I have had two kidney transplant. My first transplant was a kidney/pancreas on April 7, 2013. That kidney failed in 2017 and I started dialysis again. I received my second kidney January 8, 2024. I've done at least 3 or 4 walks and i want to continue to support my self and others who are battling kidney disease or knows someone who is battling.
I walk to support the lifechanging work of the National Kidney Foundation:
- To ensure that families will have a place to turn when they need answers.
- To keep up the fight for policy changes to protect kidney patients and living donors.
- To drive innovation in transplantation and get more loved ones off the kidney transplant waitlist.
Are you with me?
PLEASE CONSIDER SUPPORTING MY EFFORTS WITH A GENEROUS DONATION.
