Why I Walk

Hola,

Come everyone is welcome to walk and stand with me to make a real impact! I'm stepping up because countless families and individuals, just like me, are facing the daily struggles of living with a life-changing chronic illness. My own fight began two decades ago after a routine yearly checkup, and I've been closely monitoring my condition every 4-6 months since then. Tragically, thousands more will be blindsided by a kidney disease diagnosis in the coming year. Let's work together to make a difference and bring hope to those who are battling this disease.

I am walking to support the incredible work of the National Kidney Foundation:

- To ensure that families have a resource to turn to in their time of need

- To advocate for policy changes that safeguard kidney patients and living donors

- To promote advancements in transplantation and to decrease the number of loved ones awaiting kidney transplants
