Why I Walk

For the last 10 years, I  have been working with patients that have kidney failure, both on the dialysis side and transplant side. I walk for my patients, both past and present. Three times a week, our patients come in to the clinic. We meet their families, learn about their hopes, dreams, and fears. Some receive the gift of life with a transplant. Others pass away and we mourn them. The resources the NKF offer our patients can help as they navigate the new normal of being diagnosed with kidney disease.
