My mother Debbie was diagnosed with kidney disease in the summer of 2016 and her life was forever changed. Dealing with this chronic illness and the complications that followed was stressful physically and emotionally. She fought an uphill battle for many years but ultimately succumbed to her illness this past April. By coincidence or fate, this year the NYC walk for Kidney Disease is being held on her first heavenly birthday, November 13th. My brother and I would like to raise money in her memory for other patients and families who are coping and fighting the way she did for several years. We plan on celebrating her birthday and her life after the walk, details to follow but even if you can’t participate please consider donating.
