Sharing Kidneys is Caring Kidney Walk

Kimberley Montgomery
Hello!
Thank you for taking the time to read about my journey and why this walk is important to me. I am walking because I have been coping with this chronic illness for over 5 years. Thousands more will face an unexpected kidney disease diagnosis this year alone.
I walk to support the life changing work of the National Kidney Foundation. The foundation helped to provide support to me and my children when I was first diagnosed with my rare blood disorder. They insured that I would be able to afford my treatments and medications. With the National Kidney Foundations support, I was able to find balance, receive treatment, and seek the support I needed after this traumatic diagnosis.
The National Kidney Foundation:
- Ensures that families will have a place to turn when they need answers.
- Keeps up the fight for policy changes to protect kidney patients and living donors.
- Drives innovation in transplantation and get more loved ones off the kidney transplant waitlist.
Please consider supporting my efforts with a generous donation. Thank you for your support and your willingness to give!
