My name is Eddie, John, or Boogie (long story 😜) depends on where I first met you. I recently just celebrated my 6th year anniversary of receiving my kidney transplant. To celebrate each year, I would participate in the Kidney Walk under Team Boogie Beats. This year, I wanted a fresh start with a new team name. Team Boogie Beats will now be known as Kickin’ Kidneys Crew! For many years in the past, I would receive a tremendous amount of support from my family and friends. For this year’s walk, I would appreciate and ask for your support for others who are in need. This includes both current kidney patients and those who are at risk of kidney disease. 

Our team has joined others throughout the country to fight against kidney disease. On September 18, 2022 we’ll walk for our loved ones, colleagues or friends who cope with this devastating chronic illness each day – and for those who lost their fight too soon.

Together, we walk to support the lifechanging work of the National Kidney Foundation:
     - To ensure that families will have a place to turn when they need answers.
     - To keep up the fight for policy changes to protect kidney patients and living donors.
     - To drive innovation in transplantation and get more loved ones off the kidney transplant waitlist.
