August 20th will be two years since I lost my dad to his life-long battle with chronic kidney disease. He lived out his last days in the hospital alone (screw Covid) recovering from his second transplant surgery, fighting with a resilience and mental fortitude that I can only hope to muster. 
 

I'm walking in my dad's memory and in honor of the thousands of other #GirlDads who have lost their battles to this devastating disease.
