Why We Walk

On November 13, 2022, we will join others to fight against kidney disease. We’ll walk for loved ones, colleagues or friends who cope with this devastating chronic illness each day – and for those who lost their fight too soon.

Let’s join Elliot, who is chair of the local chapter of NKF Serving the Alleghenies, to exceed our team performance last year and reach our goal of raising $3K. Elliot first became involved with NKF to support our colleague and former VP of Operations Dave Borra, who retired from Cowden in 2019 and was a recipient of a successful kidney transplant.

This year marks another great opportunity for Team Cowden to work together to support this outstanding local organization and their efforts.

Walk with us and fundraise -or- support our efforts with a generous donation to improve the lives of kidney patients in our community and across the country.
