Dash for Dad Team Page - 2022 Pittsburgh Kidney Walk
Dash For Dad
Dash for Dad
We sincerely thank you for taking the time to visit this page and considering to help raise money for a cause that is near and dear to our family.
In 2019, we lost our dad to kidney disease/cancer and we miss him dearly. To honor him and fight kidney disease, we will ‘Dash for Dad’ this November in the 2022 Pittsburgh Kidney Walk.
We’d love for you to join our team in person and walk with us at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium on Sunday, November 13th or walk virtually on your own time—all in memory of him.
There is no fee to register, but all participants are asked to fundraise to provide lifesaving programs and services to the 37 million (more than 1 in 7) American adults currently living with chronic kidney disease, and the 1 in 3 adults who are at risk.
If you can’t join us this year, please consider making a donation in memory of our favorite guy.

Why We Walk
This year, our team has joined others throughout the country to fight against kidney disease. On November 13, 2022 we’ll walk for our loved ones, colleagues or friends who cope with this devastating chronic illness each day – and for those who lost their fight too soon.
Together, we walk to support the lifechanging work of the National Kidney Foundation:
- To ensure that families will have a place to turn when they need answers.
- To keep up the fight for policy changes to protect kidney patients and living donors.
- To drive innovation in transplantation and get more loved ones off the kidney transplant waitlist.
Will you join us?
Walk with us and fundraise -or- support our efforts with a generous donation to improve the lives of kidney patients in our community and across the country.
