By participating in the 2026 Michigan Kidney Walk at the Detroit Zoo, you’ll let others know they’re not alone.
Every walker plays a vital role in helping us reach our fundraising goal and support programs for Michiganders with chronic kidney disease. Walkers over the age of 12 are asked to raise at least $50 to help us maximize net proceeds in support of our kidney community. (Walkers aged 3-12 are asked to raise at least $15, and those aged 2 and under are free.) The Kidney Walk at the Detroit Zoo is our largest fundraiser, with over 80% of proceeds supporting programs and services like Kid's Camp, Emergency Fund, Enhance®Fitness, and more.
All those that raise $100 individually will earn an official Kidney Walk t-shirt.
